Japanese Miracle Beads begin with a base bead of plastic ureal resin. This core is coated with a silver coating and then painted with micro particles and dried. The manufacturer repeats the coloring, coating, and drying processes up to 10 times. This number of coating processes gives the miracle beads their special ability to shine. A secret formula is used for the content of the coating paint to give the miracle beads their distinctive brightness.
Since the beads have excellent reflection and flexion rates, the reflection goes in various directions and causes the beads to sparkle. The process of coating the beads 10 times ensures the thickness and strength of the coating compared to ordinary beads. The beads are also painted with a urethane paint with UV protection so that the vibrant color does not fade over time.
Imitation miracle beads are also produced in other countries, but they are of lesser quality with no UV protection, more irregularity and less vivid colors.
