All classes are held Tuesday nights from 6-8pm (unless otherwise noted).
The cost for each class is $25 plus the cost of materials.

If you need any assistance in selecting your materials we are happy to assist you prior to the class time.
To reserve a space in a class you must pay the $25 class fee before class time. If you cannot attend a class please cancel 24 hours in advance and we will be happy to give you a credit for another class or merchandise.
Please note that all basic techniques such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc. are still taught free of charge any time during our regular store hours. We reserve the right to cancel a class if our minimum number of three students is not met.
Beading Classes: Winter, Spring, Summer 2013
Basic Earrings: $25.00 (includes materials)

Tuesday February 5th; May 7th; August 6th 6-8pm
This is a great class for the beginning beader. Learn to make basic earrings, linked earrings, and wire wrapped earrings. A small selection of beads as well as base metal headpins and earwires are included in the class fee. If you have metal sensitivity you may want to purchase your own earwires ahead of time. You are also welcome to purchase or bring your own beads to work with.
Basic Finishing Techniques: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Tuesday January 29th; April 30th; July 30th 6-8pm
With an emphasis on technique, this class is a great overview for those with limited beading experience. You will learn to finish projects using beading wire, memory wire, elastic, and leather or satin cord. Complete three different types of bracelets and one necklace during the class time. Materials to be purchased before the class:
- 1 adult 1x memory wire bracelet
- 1 ft .5 mm elastic cord
- 1 ft C-flex beading wire
- 1.5 ft of leather or satin cord
- 3 crimp beads
- 2 coils or crimp ends
- 2 clasp sets
- 1 tube size 6/0 seed beads (for color variety choose a seed bead mix)
- 1 charm with jump ring
- 10 - 20 accent beads of your choice
Beaded Beads: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Tuesday March 26th; June 25th; 6-8pm
Using nylon mono-filament and a simple weaving technique turn 25 ordinary beads into one awesome bauble. Use one beaded bead on its own or string many together for a funky necklace or bracelet. Beaded beads also make great earrings! Materials to be purchased before the class:
- 1 spool Miyuki nylon mono-filament #40
- 1 strand 5mm firepolish
- 1 strand 3mm firepolish
- 1 tube Miyuki 11/0 seed beads
- 2 Big Eye needles
Dream Catcher with Beads: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Tuesday April 16th; July 16th; 6-8pm
We are so happy to add this exciting new class to our list. Students will learn to make their very own dream catcher, a traditional Native American craft. By using a simple weaving technique, a beautiful web is created that is believed to "catch" bad dreams if placed above one's bed. They make beautiful decorations and are whimsical fun for young and old. Students are encouraged to bring materials like found objects, feathers, sticks, bones, and of course beads to make your dream catcher personal and meaningful. This class is open to adults and children 12 and older. Materials to be purchased before the class:
- 1 embroidery hoop 6 to 8 inch diameter
- 1 spool C-Lon bead cord.
- 1 tube Myuki size 8/0 - 6/0 seed beads
- Feathers, found objects, assorted beads optional
Embellished Peyote Stitch Bracelet: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Learn to make a stunning embellished bracelet using peyote stitch, a popular and fun bead weaving technique. Materials to be purchased before the class:
- 2 tubes of Miyuki Square Beads
- 1 package of beading needles
- 1 spool of C-lon beading thread (size D)
- 1-2 tubes of size 11/0 seed beads (for color variety)
- 1 tube of 8/0 seed beads
- 40 4mm beads (firepolish, crystal, etc.) or 1 tube 6/0 seed beads
- 1 3-strand clasp set
- Feel free to substitute a strand of African seed beads for some added flair!
Herringbone Tube Bracelet: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Herringbone is a classic stitch that can be either flat or tubular. In this class you will use flat herringbone to create a quick and easy bracelet. A fun button or bead of your choice makes a delightful clasp! Materials to be purchased before the class:
- 1 strand 4mm firepolish beads
- 1 tube Miyuki 8/0 seed beads
- 1 tube Miyuki TR8 seed beads
- 1 Big Eye needle
- 1 spool C-Lon micro cord
- 1 ft leather cord
- 2 crimp ends and a clasp set

Introduction to Bead Embroidery: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Tuesday April 23rd; July 23rd; 6-8pm
This introduction to bead embroidery will teach you basic techniques for beading onto fabric. In this class you will create an embroidered pendant using a center piece, seed beads and cloth. Materials to be purchased before class:
- 1 Cabochon or flat bead
- 1-3 tubes 11/0 seed beads
- 1 strand 2mm firepolish
- 1 piece of ultrasuede
- 1 glue on bail
- 1 tube of E-6000 glue
- 1 spool C-Lon size D or Miyuki thread
- 1 package of beading needles (short)
Knotting with Silk: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Tuesday February 12th; May 14th; August 13th 6-8pm
Learn to knot between pearls or semiprecious beads. Restring the pearls you already have, or begin a new project. This technique can also be used to create spaces between your beads, making a "floating bead" necklace. Materials to be purchased before the class:
- 1 strand of pearls or semiprecious beads
- 1 card Griffin silk (ask for help with size)
- 2 bead tips
- 1 clasp set
- 1 set extra fine knotting tweezers (available in store)
Kumihimo Braiding with Beads: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

The word Kumihimo means the coming together of threads. Take this fun Japanese braidmaking technique to the next level by adding beads. Materials to be purchased before class:
- 1 Kumihimo round disk
- 1 spool of C-Lon bead cord
- 1 Big Eye needle
- 2 cones
- 1 clasp set
- 8 inches wire
- 1 pkg. small EZ Bob Bobbins
- 1 tube Miyuki 8/0 seed beads
Leather Wrap Bracelet: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Learn how to create this popular bracelet using simple materials. The leather wrap bracelet can be made with a variety of beads in endless color combinations. Materials to be purchased before the class:
- 3.5 ft. Leather Cord (1.5mm recommended)
- Miyuki beading thread
- 1 package of beading needels
- 100, 4mm beads
- Button (or large bead) for closure
Wire Wrapped Bead-Link Bracelet: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Learn the basics of wire wrapping while creating your own bead-link bracelet. Wire wrapping is a wonderful technique for making links and dangles to be used for earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and other projects. Materials to be purchased before the class:

- 28 - 42 assorted accent beads (4 - 6mm in size)

Wire Wrapped Sea Glass: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

Learn some useful wire wrapping techniques to turn your beach treasures into wearable pieces of jewelry! Bring your own sea glass or beach stones, or choose from our large selection to create your one of a kind piece. This class is limited to six students. Materials to be purchased before the class:
- several pieces of sea glass or beach stones (assorted sizes and shapes)
- 1 package of 22 or 24 gauge sterling silver or gold filled wire
- necklace cord or chain is optional
Woven Rivoli Earrings: $25.00 (plus cost of materials)

You won't believe how quick and easy it is to make this stunning pair of earrings! Learn to make a beadwoven setting for Swarovski crystal rivolis. Materials to be purchased before the class:
- 2 14mm Swarovski rivolis
- 1 tube 6mm Miyuki bugles (BGL2)
- 1 tube Miyuki 15/0 seed beads
- 1 strand 2mm firepolish OR 1 tube 3mm Swarovski crystals
